The yellow jacket with embroidery

Finally a new sewing post!

This is a jacket/cardigan I made this Winter. It was supposed to be a good warm cardigan I could use everyday when it was very cold, but I never really did used it because I thought this could be a nice spring/summer jacket instead.

The pattern for this cardigan is from simplicity, Women’s Knit Cardigan with Variations and Multiple Pieces for Design Hacking, it is a really good pattern with good instructions. It is a very easy pattern to work with.

The embroidery on the jacket is something I bought at Stoff & stil, it was a bit hard to iron the embroidery on, since I did not know what kind of fabric I have sewn the jacket in (I bought the fabirc on outlet sale), so I was afraid to iron the fabric too much.

I was skeptical on wearing this jacket because I thought it was looking too big for me, but I have already become comfortable with wearing it now and it fits really good for the Norwegian weather!
